HARARE – In form Khama Billiat stole the show on Saturday afternoon as his Yadah FC shocked visitors Highlanders with a 2-0 defeat at the Heart Stadium in Harare.
The former Kaizer Chiefs star helped the hosts take the lead in the 30th minute when he teed up his teammate Jerry Chipangura who went on to unleashed a half volley inside the box.
Yadah went into the break leading the struggling Bosso by a goal to nil before Billiat sealed victory in the second half.
Three minutes into the second half, the talented forward doubled Yadah’s lead.
He made no mistake, beating Bosso goalkeeper Reward Muza with his left foot off a King Nadolo splendid pass.

This saw Billiat increasing his season tally to six goals, just two behind the current leading top goal scorer William Manondo who also scored on Saturday.
Manondo found the net when his CAPS United lost 3-2 to reigning champions Ngezi Platinum Stars at Baobab Stadium.
Following his outstanding performance, Billiat was named Man of the Match.
Billiat who has regained his form, has six goals and four assists to his name so far this season.
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) will take a short break set to end on the 13th of July.
“This serves to advise that the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League will take a break after the conclusion of Match day 17 fixtures scheduled for 29-30 June 2024,” announced the PSL.
“PSL matches will resume on Saturday 13 July 2024. “No friendly matches will be sanctioned during this period.”
