I support Nelson Chamisa more than the party says, Madzibaba veShanduko

HARARE – Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa’s ardent supporter and fierce ruling Zanu PF party critic Madzibaba VeShanduko real name, Godfrey Karembera has praised his leader for dumping the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) saying that the move helped in exposing “snakes” and “traitors” in their movement.

In a recent interview, recorded visually at his house in Mashonaland Central by Citizens Voice Network, Karembera said he is more loyal to Chamisa than the party.

He accused Zanu-PF of engineering the suffering that the people of Zimbabwe are facing.

“The person who was chosen by the people of Zimbabwe is president Nelson Chamisa. Mnangagwa knows it. Did you see when he (Chamisa) dumped the party? All snakes and traitors were exposed,” he said.

“Our leader did a very good thing by stepping out. The nation is hungry because of Zanu-PF. How many minerals does this country have? Yet we’re struggling. The pandemic in this country is Zanu-PF. It can only be cured by Nelson Chamisa.

“I want Nelson Chamisa more than the party.”

To show his deep love for Chamisa, Karembera painted his houses blue in support of the new movement aligned to Chamisa and his allies Gift “Ostallos” Siziba and Amos Chibaya.

“When I heard that Ostallos and his team were now associated with the blue movement, I quickly bought buckets of blue paint and painted my houses. If Nelson Chamisa decides to go for the red, you will find my home red again,” Karembera highlighted in the interview.

Chamisa dumped CCC after it was captured by Sengezo Tshabangu, who, through the help of the State, claimed to be the party’s secretary general.

Tshabangu went on to recall Members of Parliament and councillors aligned to Chamisa. His actions assisted Zanu-PF to gain a two-thirds majority in Parliament.

He currently associates himself with Zanu-PF members, raising suspicion that he is being funded by the ruling party to destabilise the opposition.

As a senator, Tshabangu is now the leader of the opposition in Parliament. He is set to receive more than US$1 million under the Political Parties Finance Act.

Against this background, Chamisa dumped CCC citing infiltration.

He is now associated with the blue movement fronted by Siziba and Chibaya, who are also victims of Tshabangu’s parliamentary recalls.
