Billiat now on three goals after netting brace in Yadah’s win over Chicken Inn

HARARE – Former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat has now registered his name three times on the score sheet in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Billiat opened his Yadah FC account last in a mid week fixture against champions Ngezi Platinum Stars in Mhondoro.

Then on Saturday he scored a brace in their 2-1 victory over Chicken Inn at The Heart Stadium in Harare.

His two goals inspired Yadah to their first win in their backyard, The Heart Stadium, since the opening of the newly constructed stadium by the ZIFA First Instance Body earlier this month.

Billiat opened the scoring in the eighth minute, scoring from 12 yards before he completed his brace at the stroke of half time, again from the penalty spot.

Impressive Chicken Inn’s new signing Brendon Rendo pulled one back for the visitors in the second half but his strike only proved to be a consolation goal.

Chicken Inn protested against the second penalty, claiming the foul took place just outside the box.

Their coach Joey Antipas stormed the pitch ordering his players to leave the, resulting in referee Lawrence Zimondi briefly stopping play for ten minutes.

Yadah FC who started the season slow, are now seated on 13th position with 10 points after nine matches.

The Miracle Boys are six points adrift second placed Manica Diamonds.
