Baba Troy’s Toyota Aqua donated by Wicknell Chivayo wrecked in accident

Only a month after he was gifted a car by free-spending businessman Wicknell Chivayo, musician Baba Troy has been involved in a car accident that has reportedly seen the car being written off.

Baba Troy had got the vehicle, a Toyota Aqua, after a public plea to Chivayo, as he claimed that the way he was travelling was less than dignified.

In response, Chivayo said he was touched by the musician’s plea and donated the vehicle. However, Chivayo said he was discouraged by the fact that Baba Troy did not have a valid driver’s license, which he said he would help him acquire.

“Anoita accident ofa mangwana chaiye then iyo Rolls Royce Spectre yangu yandiri kuita kurota iyi yosvika in the next few months ndino pfidza nemi ma zimba ….Taizviziva chikwambo chake chaida ropa…IM NOT READY FOR THAT NONSENSE,” said Wicknell.

It seems as if the businessman’s words were almost prophetic, after the accident which reportedly wrecked the vehicle but spared Baba Troy.

In a video released via his social media on Monday, Baba Troy said he was still alive and well, despite the wishes of his detractors.

“Aika zve. Ndirikutomutswa nevanhu ndakarara. ‘Hee mdara muri safe here? Hee mdara hamuna kufa here?’

“Ndakanamatirwa na Prophet Angel amana inini. Maiziva? Ndakanamatirwa na Prophet Angel zvikanzi ‘Nyasha dzichafamba pauri.’

“Saka zviri zvema accident zviye zviye haaa hatife. Tiri safe. Takanamatirwa na Prophet Angel pa Good News apa. Spirit Embassy mdara. Ndini Baba Troy,” he said while driving.
