Luton star Marvelous Nakamba starts recovery journey after knee injury

Zimbabwe Warriors skipper Marvelous Nakamba, a key figure in Luton Town’s Premier League promotion last season, has begun his rehabilitation following a knee injury sustained in December.

Nakamba took to his social media platform on Wednesday to share a video of himself undergoing gym based rehabilitation exercises.

Shared on X (Twitter), the video was accompanied by a motivational caption: “The comeback is always stronger than the setback. See you soon.”

The former Bantu Rovers midfielder’s injury came as a blow to the Hatters who are currently battling relegation.

Nakamba who has been out of action since December 2023, has so far missed nine league matches for the struggling Rob Edwards’ coached side.

The return of Nakamba, a fan favourite, will be eagerly anticipated by fans and it will come as boost to the team.

In an interview, Edwards revealed that: “We miss Marve (Nakamba), he does give us something really different and something unique in that position,” the Luton Town’s manager told the media.
