Harare based outfit CAPS United on Wednesday, unveiled a blend of youth and experience in their 27-man squad for the upcoming 2024 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) season.
The official unveiling ceremony took place at Nyaradzo Seal Hall in Harare.
Makepekepe introduced 11 signings among them Junior Bunjira, son of club legend Alois Bunjira.
Other signings are Jayden Bakare (on loan from Dynamos), Bruce Kangwa (free agent), Ralph Kawondera (ex-Manica Diamonds) and Lot Chiwunga (ex-Black Rhinos).
The Green Machine also added Milton Chirwa (ex-Sheasham), Simba Gunda (ex-Jadel Academy), Wayne Makuva (ex-Triangle United), Brian Kadamanja (ex-Yadah), Kingsley Mureremba (ex-Cranbourne Bullets), and Tapiwa Rusenza (ex-Come Again).
Meanwhile, the Lloyd Chitembwe coached side retained 16 players.
With a blend of youth and experience, CAPS United aims to improve upon last season’s performance.
They had an inconsistent campaign, which saw them flirt with relegation.
