Warriors defender Alec Mudimu signs for Welsh top flight side Flint Town
Nomadic Zimbabwe Warriors defender Alec Mudimu has joined Welsh Premier League club Flint Town United FC, the player’s handlers, PES Football Agency announced in a statement on Tuesday.
“We are delighted to confirm the transfer of Alec Mudimu to Flint Town Football Club in the first tier of the JD Cyrmu Premier League,” wrote PES.
Mudimu, formerly with England lower league sides Sheffield Wednesday and Altrincham FC comes with experience to Flint who are lying in the relegation zone, third position from bottom.
The well-travelled 27-year-old defender who makes a return to the Welsh top flight league once plied his trade in Turkey, Moldova and Georgia.
He was also part of the Warriors squad that played at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] held in Cameroon from January to February in 2022.
