Knox Mutizwa scores twice to inspire Arrows to a 3-2 win over Chiefs

Zimbabwean international Knox Mutizwa was the hero after grabbing a second half brace to help Golden Arrows come from behind to beat Kaizer Chiefs 3-2 in a DStv Premiership fixture that was played at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.

Chiefs took an early lead through Sifiso Hlanti who scored in the 8th minute and at the stroke of halftime, Arrows replied courtesy of Ntsako Neverdie Makhubela.

Then with two minutes into the second half, Amakhosi restored the lead, thanks to Mduduzi Tshabalala’s strike which was his first goal of the season.

However, this was before Mutizwa who is Arrows’ all-time top goal scorer with 54 goals in all competitions, equalised for the visiting side in the 69th minute.

The former Highlanders forward went on to score the winning goal in the 78th minute to help Abafana Bes’thende who came from behind to snatch the victory.
