Injured Khama Billiat to miss Kazier Chiefs’ clash against Sundowns

Former Zimbabwe international Khama Billiat will miss the crunch tie between his side Kaizer Chiefs and his former employers Mamelodi Sundowns due to an undisclosed injury.

Slated for this Saturday night, the much anticipated fixture which will see Chiefs hosting Sundowns at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.

Kickoff is 8pm.

Billiat who is under a lot of criticism from a section of Kaizer Chiefs fans will miss the encounter due to an injury.

This will see the former Sundowns star remain without making an appearance for Chiefs since the return of the DStv Premiership after the World Cup break.

He has only managed 11 appearances this campaign and has missed eight games due to nagging injuries.

The 32-year-old forward is yet to find the back of the net this season, he has only managed three assists.

This has placed him under a lot of criticism from a section of Amakhosi faithfuls who want him to be shown the exit door saying he is finished.

However, the lanky forward has been backed by his teammate and gaffer Keagan Dolly and Arthur Zwane respectively who still believe in him.
