Gilroy Takudzwa Chimwemwe on the verge of joining TP Mazembe

Zimbabwean international utility defender Gilroy Takudzwa Chimwemwe is reportedly on the verge of joining Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) giants TP Mazembe.

Multiple reports suggest the former Harare City star could put pen to paper with the Congolese side after impressing during a trial stint.

The 30-year-old was part of Mazembe’s team that played Blessing FC recently in Kamalondo during a practice match.

Mazembe won the match 4-0 with the former Zimbabwe Warriors right back putting up a good show.

Chimwemwe is currently unattached after his contract with Zambian premier league side Nkana FC expired in December.
