Billiat provides insight on new Chiefs coach
Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khama Billiat has given insight into Ernst Middendorp’s first week at the helm.Billiat joined Chiefs from Mamelodi Sundowns, where Pitso Mosimane has been in charge for six years.
Now barely six months into his time at Amakhosi, the Zimbabwean international finds himself working with a new coach after the departure of Giovanni Solinas, who tried to build his team around Billiat.
The former PSL Footballer of the Season says they need to stick to the ideas of the new coach so that they can progress.
“We are still working on a lot of things, attacking and defensively. We are still trying to work on combinations and the way he wants us to play and it looks good.
Hopefully we will adjust and do it during the games.”
Chiefs have been drawn to play ABC Motsepe League outfit Tornado FC in the Nedbank Cup last 32.
