Now barely six months into his time at Amakhosi, the Zimbabwean international finds himself working with a new coach after the departure of Giovanni Solinas, who tried to build his team around Billiat.

The former PSL Footballer of the Season says they need to stick to the ideas of the new coach so that they can progress.

“When there’s a new coach there’s new energy, different training sessions and everything is different. It’s always like that, but now we really need to stick to his ideas and try to make sure the energy is always there every time we play and enjoy most importantly,” Billiat said after the Nedbank Cup draw on Thursday night in Johannesburg.

Hopefully we will adjust and do it during the games.”
