Musona dreams big

If only God can grant Zimbabwe’s senior national team goal poacher his wish!
Belgium-based Warriors talisman Knowledge Musona is dreaming big, he imagines himself playing alongside Real Madrid’s utility player Marcelo Vieira da Silva Junior better known as Marcelo to hordes of football lovers in the world.
Marcelo won Musona’s admiration after Real Madrid recently beat Bayern Munich 4-2 to advance to the semi-finals of the popular Uefa Champions League.
It was a game where famed Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick to become the first player to reach 100 Champions League goals.
Referring to Marcelo, Zimbabwe’s football wonder boy took to his Twitter handle to express his admiration of Marcelo’s type of play.
“I want to play with this guy, he knows football too much,” read the post that was accompanied by Marcelo’s picture.
The post attracted a lot of interest from his followers and one Dennis Zishiri responded and said: “You are not bad yourself.”
Blessing Mancitshana went: Good wishes not ‘stars’ like Muroiwa, Zvirekwi . . . now you are talking football Mr Musona.”
One Samson Mthiyane Magunga also reacted to the post and said: It all starts with a dream , that’s the attitude Musona’ Marcelo (28), also plays for the Brazilian national team. He plays mainly as left back but can also operate as a left winger.
He is frequently compared to former Brazil legendary player Roberto Carlos, who himself said Marcelo was his heir, the world’s best left back and that: “Marcelo possesses a better technical ability than me.”
After his breakthrough season, Marcelo was praised by football legends such as Paolo Maldini and Diego Maradona and who also called him the best in his position. B-Metro
