Janet Kamuchirondo (21) wife to Luckson Manondo diverted her route to the funeral and spent the whole night with married Bruce Nzara who had chased away his wife to accommodate the former.

The ‘lovebirds’ were exposed to mourners in Mutake Village by a peeping Tom’ Standreck Manondo, young brother to Luckson.

Janet confirmed spending the night with Bruce, popularly known as Macharangwanda, after turning down Standreck, who was begging to have quality time with her the same night.

Macharangwanda disappeared from the scene, leaving Janet at the mourners mercy as they took turns to beat her up after she was caught hiding in the wardrobe.

One of the mourners, only identified as Mai Simba, told H-Metro that Janet was nearly burnt after Macharangwanda’s wife threatened to set the house on fire.

“Chipfambi hachidi kudaro, mukadzi uyu apotsa apisirwa mumba after Macharangwanda lied to villagers that Janet had since left when she was hiding in the wardrobe,” said Mai Simba.

Macharangwanda turned the bed upside down in trying to convince the villagers that Janet had since left only to be found stuck in the wardrobe where she was pulled out for a thorough bashing.

Villagers attacked her after she came out boasting about her affair with Macharangwanda as she tried to justify herself that she was deserted by Luckson and left with no choice.

“Zvarwadza vanhu izvozvo vakamugadzirisa yeah arohwa chaizvo akaisa maoko muhomwe ,” said Mai Simba.

Janet said she was prepared to pack her belongings on condition her in-laws give her bus fare since Luckson deserted her.

“They beat me up but to be honest, I never had sex with him. I spent the whole night seated after I informed him that Standreck was calling asking me to have time with him,” said Janet.

“He has been begging me for sex but I turned him down so he was tracking all my movements leading him to inform the mourners about my presence at Macharangwanda’s house. I am aware that he separated with his wife but he is the one who locked the door saying he would not hear my case against Standreck.

“I was ordered to pack my belongings although my husband is not here after he deserted me two months ago to cohabit with his small house. I am prepared to go back to my rural home in Sanyati if my in -laws are prepared to give me bus fare or if I get a buyer for the bricks I moulded,” said Jane.

Macharangwanda’s wife took advantage of the melee and collected her belongings in the presence of the villagers. She also splashed urine she found in the bucket on Janet ‘s face before leaving accompanied by her sister.
