Kenny Mubaiwa, the Dynamos president, has endorsed DeMbare TV and said they had made sure the DVD would not be pirated.

“The original copy also comes with a beautiful case which pirates would find difficult to imitate,” he said

“My message to all the Dynamos fans and football followers in Zimbabwe and beyond is to buy the DeMbare TV DVD and enjoy yourselves.”

Pascal Kwaramba, the DeMbare TV executive producer, said they would be producing a DVD show every two weeks until they flight their show on television.

He urged the corporate sector to support them and place adverts on their DVD show.

Efforts are also underway to have DeMbare TV on Supersport and ZBC-TV.

“We have the numbers, if you place your adverts within the programme you will reach your target market and boost your business because Dynamos is a brand,” said Kwaramba.

“We are also pursuing other avenues to have our TV Channel when digital migration is finally unveiled.

“The first DeMbare TV DVD was produced using an HD filming cameras and edited by a team of professional Media Expressions editors and directed by Manuel Matsinye, who is director of Legacies, one of the most interesting Zimbabwean TV Soap which won several awards and screened on MNET.”

The programme is segmented in a different style.

“The fans will also see the rooms the players sleep in when in camp as well as the team talk. They will see and hear the coaches’ tactical strategy ahead of matches.

“The idea is to make the Dynamos player comfortable in their home environment and speak from their soul and this would make them pour their heart out about everything which happens in their lives outside football so that the viewer sees the other side of the players.”

Gerald Mashonga, the man behind the Graphic design for DeMbare TV, said the graphics they used were eye-catching.

“The graphics are meant to create a virtual studio just like the Barclays Premier League Supersport design and I tried to blend that with the Dynamos colours and it is unbelievably eye-catching,” he said. The Herald
