Zimbabwe Human Rights lawyer, Charles Kwaramba who is representing Dzamara confirmed that they could not locate the firebrand critic who was abducted on Monday.

“I can confirm that we received tip offs that Itai is being held at the Harare Central Police station’s Law and Order Division,” Kwaramba said.

“We rushed there but the police told us Dzamara was not in their custody,” Kwaramba said.

Kwaramba also said that the police showed them their records of the inmates but Itai is not one of them.

“A relative had told us that he has been tipped by some security details that Dzamara was abducted and brought to Harare Central police station.”

“We will always be on the look out for any detail that may help us find Dzamara,” Kwaramba said.
