UNITED KINGDOM – A Zimbabwean mother of two was found murdered at her house in Hillingdon (London) on Friday.
According to early reports Emily Munemo died from stab wounds and her husband was taken for questioning by police. He has since been bailed until March.
Emergency services and police were called to Collingwood Road in Hillingdon at about 11:00 GMT on Friday after receiving reports that a woman was injured. The paramedics could not save Ms Munemo’s life. She died around an hour after their arrival.
Detectives swept the house for clues and a 35-year-old man was arrested in Hayes on suspicion of murder – and quizzed by officers at a West London Police station.
Friends and family say Emily was a graduate from the prestigious Oxford Brookes University and she and her family had recently moved to a new house.
Company director and health worker Munemo set up Muney Ltd in October 2012 and ran the business from her home, where she had lived in 2008.
Mourners are heading to her mother’s house in Surrey.
