The Zanu PF Bulawayo province has passed a vote of no confidence in its chairperson Callistus Ndlovu, his deputy and four other members of the executive over allegations of fanning factionalism and abuse of party resources.

Ndlovu, his deputy Christopher Dube and four other members of the executive were ousted through a vote of no confidence by 27 members.
The other four members of the executive are the secretary for administration Elifas Mashaba, secretary for finance Charles Chiponda, secretary for commissariat Canaan Ncube and secretary for security Nicholas Mhlanga.
The deputy secretary for business development and liason George Mlala is now the acting Chairman.
The announcement was made by the deputy secretary for Science and Technology in the Bulawayo executive Nacisio Makhulumo who said Ndlovu, among other reasons, openly declined to announce the endorsement of President Robert Mugabe as the First Secretary of the party and First Lady Grace Mugabe as the women’s league secretary during a provincial co-ordinating committee meeting held on November 2 leading to central committee member Godfrey Malaba making the announcement.
Ndlovu becomes the seventh Zanu PF chairperson to be booted out after Themba Mliswa (Mashonaland West), Callistus Gwanetsa (Masvingo), Amos Midzi (Harare), Jason Machaya (Midlands), Andrew Langa (Matabeleland South) and John Mvundura (Manicaland). – ZBC
