Pokello offers some tips to Butterphly

Former Big Brother housemate Pokello Nare has described one of this year’s representatives, Butterphly, as too shy and says she should step up her game plan.

Posting on her Twitter account yesterday, Pokello said Butterphly needed to be innovative for her to be successful in the show.

“Munin’ina Butterphly urikunyanya kunyara dear. Kwauri hakudi izvozvo.

“Ndanyora neShona kuti vavengi vasanzwe.

“Hama tinewe asi chiita zvirinani, (my young sister Butterphly you are too shy and that should not be the game plan for the show.

“I have written in Shona so that haters will not understand.

“We are with you all the way, just improve,” reads part of the post.

Pokello was one housemate who managed to survive the chop several times after being nominated almost every week in the reality show last year when she was representing the country.

Butterphly, real name Tariro Mharapara, started the run on a bad note after she got the least votes from viewers in a talent show that kicked off the reality show on Sunday.

The talent show, which was meant to introduce and market each housemate, saw Butterphly getting the lowest votes (44,5 percent) after a poetry performance.

On the other hand, another Zimbabwean representative in the house, JJ (Jerome Arab), started on a good note after managing to wow the crowd and got 72,6 percent for his singing which landed him in the top six.

It is yet to be seen if Butterphly has a good game plan which will see her surviving the chop or bringing the money home or if Zimbabweans should bank their hopes on JJ, who is quite impressive. The Herald
