The Zimbabwean hitman has made it clear that a move back to Germany with Hoffenheim is his priority, although Chiefs are looking at whether another loan deal can be secured ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.

Chiefs Team Manager, Bobby Motaung, recently revealed he would be jetting out to Germany soon to begin talks over the player. The 23-year-old is contracted with the German giants until June 2016.

Musona was the club’s leading scorer in all competitions last season with 16 strikes, and is widely seen as an elite performer in the PSL as a result.

Nonetheless, despite the uncertainty about what the future holds for the Norton-born ace, Chiefs defender, Mathoho, maintains the club have the players upfront to score goals if he were to leave.

Speaking in edition 873 of Soccer Laduma, Mathoho said, “Knowledge is a good player and we would love to have him in the team, but that’s all up to management. They are the ones to say whether he will stay or not, but we also have other players who can do the job of scoring goals if he leaves.”
