Kaizer Chiefs should know before the end of this coming week whether Knowledge Musona would still be their player next season or not, Goal understands.

AmaKhosi’s football manager Bobby Motaung is set to have a meeting with Musona’s parent club TSG Hoffenheim in the next few days to try and convince the Bundesliga side to either extend his loan stay or sell the player to them.

Musona, 23, spent the whole of the recently ended season with Chiefs where he rediscovered his old form, and the player has previously made it clear that he wants to return to Europe.

However, with his contract coming to an end next year (2015), Hoffenheim could be tempted to sell him to another club before the start of next season.
It is unclear at this stage if Musona has attracted interest outside South African borders, but Motaung should have all the answers after his meeting with Hoffenheim.
Goal has it on good authority that Chiefs have right of first refusal, and if this is the case, then Musona could see himself back in the PSL again next season.
The Zimbabwe international had a slow start to his second spell with Chiefs, but finished the season with 15 goals from 29 appearances for AmaKhosi prior to his ankle injury. Goal.com
