Mushekwi suffered a knee injury in February, while playing for KV Oostende in Belgium. The Zimbabwean is spending the season on loan at the Belgian outfit.

The Belgian Pro League side is also home to Bafana Bafana’s former Orlando Pirates midfielder, Andile Jali.

Mushekwi’s agent, Ralph Nkomo, confirmed to the Siya crew that the striker landed in the country on Tuesday.

“Nyasha is here on holiday. He got an early holiday because he is injured. He is fine and is recovering. He arrived yesterday,” said Nkomo.

Oostende have shown interest to take Mushekwi permanently. However, the club’s interest in the player will be decided by whether he will be available or not at the end of the season.

Sundowns may need the player back in the team when preparing for the 2014/15 season. Soccer Laduma
