The midfielders were part of the Zimbabwe national team squad, that took part in the 2014 Chan tournament in South Africa, under Warriors coach Ian Gorowa.

According to a Zimbabwean newspaper, The Independent, Ncube and Moyo impressed the Ajax and Aces scouts during the continental tournament.

“Highlanders duo of Milton Ncube and Peter ‘Rio’ Moyo have both agreed terms with Ajax Cape Town and Mpumalanga Black Aces respectively and should complete their moves in June, but there is no cash windfall for Bosso,” a statement on the Independent website read.

“Ncube has been offered a signing on fee of R450 000, while midfielder Rio is set to pocket R250 000 as his signing on package,” a source close to the deals told the newspaper.

However, their agent Amini Soma Phiri was quoted saying that negotiations are still on going.

“There is something that is coming up for them but it is not yet done, I do not want too much publicity on these boys. It jeopardises everything,” Phiri told the Independent. Goal.com
