SOUTH AFRICA – Ajax Cape Town are crossing their fingers that Zimbabwean striker Simba Sithole will be available for selection when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Stadium on Saturday.
Sithole signed with Ajax during the past transfer window period after his impressive displays in the CHAN tournament hosted in South Africa recently.
Ajax executive director Ari Efstathiou told KickOff.com that his club is working around the clock to have the player registered with the PSL before Friday.
“We working hard to get his papers and we are hopeful on Friday everything will be sorted out,” says Efstathiou.
Sithole is raring to go and ready to prove his worth in Urban Warriors colours.
“To be honest, I never saw this coming. It is rare for someone to get an opportunity like this because I never went for trials and they just snapped me up like that. I really thank God,” the player said after he completed his move. KickOff.com
