South African premiership side AmaZulu have injury concerns over three players as they prepare to face Kaizer Chiefs in their last game of the year at the weekend.

The club said defenders Carlington Nyadombo and Marc Van Heerden were both expected to return for Sunday’s Absa Premiership clash after missing Monday’s 3-0 derby win over Lamontville Golden Arrows in Umlazi.
Van Heerden’s exclusion was a precaution after the fullback suffered a minor hamstring strain, while Nyadombo was sidelined by illness.
Msekeli Mvalo and Sifiso Hlanti substituted in the starting line-up but likely to sit out the match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Midfielder Nkosinathi Mthiyane suffered a dislocated shoulder late in the game against Arrows following a collision with fullback Siyanda Zwane. Further tests will determine the extent of his injury, AmaZulu added.
