Fast rising Zimbabwean comedian Carl Joshua Ncube will tonight be hosting the very first International Comedy Festival in Zimbabwe.
The Rainbow Towers Comedy Fest will feature the stand up comedy duo of Donovan Goliath and Jason Goliath from South Africa in what is expected to be a night of rib cracking, gut wrenching laughter. Zimbabwean comedy legend Michael K, rising star Q will also perform.
“The Rainbow Comedy Fest is a collaboration of a number of partners inspired by festivals like HIFA and Shoko and the need to develop a pure festival for comedy enthusiasts was long overdue,” Carl Joshua Ncube said.
“So teaming up with the premiere hotel brand Rainbow Towers and promoters Xtra Time investments this comedy festival is set to make its mark on the African Comedy Circuit bringing in some of the top comics from the continent and the world in a quarterly event,” he said.
The show tonight starts at 7pm with tickets going at $15.
