Hakeem appeals for Cleo privacy

Former Big Brother Africa housemate Hakeem Mandaza insists his relationship with Cleo is still on, amid speculation it was over. The hunk took to social networking site Facebook where he put the matter to sleep.
“I would like to assure my fans that my relationship with Cleo has been real and very loving from the beginning.
“As you are aware, every relationship faces challenges. Living in two different countries has been particularly challenging for us as a young couple, while at the same time trying to establish our careers.
“Never at any time to date, has our relationship been a front for making money. Had that been the case it would have been obvious to our fans and the general public,” he wrote on his wall.
Hakeem however regretted his recent announcement that it was over between them.
“I regret the recent announcement and the manner that it was done and I would like to set the record straight. Recently after the Zimbabwe visit Cleo and I reached a stalemate as we considered future arrangements for solidifying the relationship.
“It was at this point that we considered temporary separation to enable us to address the underlying issue.
“I sincerely apologise to all my fans and the general public for causing unnecessary anxiety over the past few days. Cleo and I would like to appeal for some privacy,” he added.
