Moses Chunga’s defining moment

Moses “Bambo” Chunga is expected to complete the formalities of securing the Zifa Eastern Region Division One ticket at home tomorrow. His Hippo Valley team need just a point in their match against Tenax to be confirmed champions and provide the Lowveld with a second Premiership side.
But while all the good money is on the champagne bottles being popped tomorrow, Tenax coach Blessing Madhombi wants his boys to provide stubborn resistance.
“We know they just need a point and they are just as good as champions but we will delay their party. We will just try to do well, especially in defence,” Madombi said.
Zifa Northern Region Division One outfit Starbill believe they need a victory to ease their relegation worries against JMC Academy at Hellenic this weekend. Starbill had a strong start to the season but have lost their way of late.
Club secretary-general, Kuda Mugari, said a victory tonight was priceless. “We are still fighting relegation but the good thing is most of our games are in the capital,” said Mugari.
