AUDIO: Tsvangirai thanks Bulawayo for voting MDC-T

The following is an audio recording of the speech in which MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai thanked the people of Bulawayo for voting overwhelmingly for his party in the July 31 elections held in Zimbabwe. Tsvangirai described Bulawayo as a liberated zone.

In the speech the former trade unionists who was received like royalty in Bulawayo questioned President Robert Mugabe’s motive in his unrestrained attack on him saying the 89-year-old cannot win legitimacy of the people through foul language.

“You start insulting Tsvangirai. Okay its fine you won, so why insult me? You have been inaugurated as a new president so now fulfil what you promised the people. But the first thing he does is to attack the people of Bulawayo and Harare saying you did not vote for me so go to Tsvangirai,” he said.
