BULAWAYO - Sengezo Tshabangu, the self-proclaimed interim secretary general of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), has been dramatically ousted from the party, setting the stage for his potential removal from the Senate.

A faction of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has suspended Sengezo Tshabangu with immediate effect, following a High Court ruling that declared his changes to the party's parliamentary leadership unlawful and ultra vires the Zimbabwean constitution.

Politics is an interesting game with a lot of surprises. Professor Welshman Ncube who leads a faction of the CCC has dragged Sengenzo Tshabangu to the High Court of Zimbabwe after he wrote to the Speaker of Parliament removing a few Parliamentarians from positions he had appointed them to earlier.

The latest development saw self-proclaimed Secretary-General Sengezo Tshabangu announce the dismissal of interim leader Welshman Ncube.
