Prosecutor Mr Tungamirai Chakurira alleged that on May 31 around 7pm, Chitukutu teamed up with his accomplices who are still at large and proceeded to Omni-Africa. They approached the guard and offered him the food which he consumed and soon became unconscious.

The suspects used bolt cutters to cut the locks and gained entry into the premises from where they stole various goods, including computers worth US$73 000.

Meanwhile, a police officer has appeared in court for allegedly biting part of his wife’s tongue during a domestic fight. Obert Muzenda (33) allegedly picked a quarrel with his wife Petrolla (24) after she had questioned him about his alleged infidelity.
