Weekend MDC-T primary election results

The MDC led by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, continued with its primary elections across the country in all the provinces that had not completed the process at the weekend.

Former Harare Polytechnic student leader and current MDC-T National Executive Member Chalton Hwende won the MDC-T ticket in Chegutu West.

Below is the list of candidates that were elected to represent the party in the next harmonised elections.

Harare Province

–    Eric Murayi – Highfield East
–    Moses Manyengava – Highfield West
–    Costa Machungauta – Budiriro
–    Webster Maondera – Glen Norah
–    Hon. Willias Madzimure – Kambuzuma

Chitungwiza Province

–    Godfrey Sithole – Chitungwiza North
–    Milton Benhe – Goromonzi South
–    Muziwake Banda – Goromonzi North
–    Simon Chidakwa – Zengeza West
–    St Mary’s – postponed
–    Khanyisiwe Makururu – Chitungwiza South
–    Norton – Voice Chinake
