“Can you please help expose what’s going on at City of Mutare. Workers at so called Diamond City are going for months with no salaries. All the departments are grounded putting service delivery on a halt.
Issues of corruption were reported but never dealt with. What pains the heart is that only a few kilometers away the City boasts of some the world’s special and largest diamond minds. Ironically, the Diamond Technology Center and and other processing facilities are in Harare… Workers at council offices in Mutare are struggling.
It’s so sad when someone with a family and dependents will be subjected to so much suffering. Five months or more with no salary, no allowance, nothing. Just working for the sake of working. With schools having opened for second term, it’s all chaos.
