Beverly says only God can convert her

HARARE – Raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda is not interested in being converted by former club manager and wheel-spinner cum prophet, Ronnie Bere.

Bev who celebrated her 22nd birthday said only God could convert her. This follows Ronnie Bere’s desire to convert her, urban grooves artist Ngoni Kambarami and all the prostitutes he was once associated with.

“Handitendeutswe naRonnie kana umwe munhu, ndinotendeutswa naMwari nekuti Mwari ndiye anotendeutsa vanhu. Ndichatendeuka ndega,” said Beverly.

She added that there are no personal issues what so ever between the two and actually they are good friends regardless of him pointing her out.

“We are good friends from long back and we still are. Hatina kumbobvira tadanana, at that time he was going out with my sister and handina kana personal naye.

“Even now we communicate and he last called me asking if I was disturbed by the news that he had mentioned me as one of the people he wanted to convert. I told him there is no problem and I am not worried about it,” she said.

When she intends to convert she replied “Ndakatendeuka kudhara because ndonamata Mwari.”

Meanwhile Bev celebrated her birthday just relaxing at home during the day saying she had no money to spoil herself. She however vowed to celebrate at her show that was to be held later that day in the evening.
