Bulawayo giants Highlanders finally lost a league match this season when they were thumped 3-0 by Monomotapa at Rufaro Stadium in Harare on Saturday. A hat-trick from Osborn Mukuradare ended Bosso’s run of 23 matches unbeaten.

Highlanders shot to the top of the log table during midweek after a sensational 1-0 victory over Hwange and Dynamos lost 1-0 to Chicken Inn. The Harare giants can now claim top spot if they beat Shabanie Mine on Sunday.
