Benjani Mwaruwari has stopped training with Jomo Cosmos of South Africa. It was believed that the Zimbabwean would join Cosmos after recently spending time training with the squad under the watchful eye of Jomo Sono.

According to the club’s spokesperson, Lucky Mhlathe, the 34-year-old has stopped training with the Ezenkosi without giving any indication what his future plans may be. Mwaruwari has been linked with a move to various South African Premiership clubs over the past months, however nothing concrete has materialised from the interest.
Meanwhile, Ajax Capetown’s Zimbabwean Striker, Tafadzwa Rusike is back in Cape Town, training with his Ajax teammates. Rusike returned from Belgium at the weekend where he was invited by Oud-Heverlee Leuven FC for trials. Rusike said he settled very quickly into the team system and enjoyed his stay in Belgium.
The player’s agent, Edzai Kasinauyo says Tafadzwa impressed during his time in Belgium and was now waiting Leuven FC for their decision regarding the player. Oud-Heverlee Leuven is a Belgian football club, from the Municipality of Leuven. ZBC
