Meanwhile, the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe Assistant Director Arts Promotions and Development, Mrs. Audrey Charamba has conveyed condolences to the group and described the loss as having robbed the nation of talented youths at a time when the industry was registering growth in the dance groups section.
“We mourn the untimely departure of our friends which comes at time when the industry is growing. As the arts motherboard, we say it is sad indeed as friends and relatives of APAMA mourn the departure of fellow Zimbabweans,” she said.
Apama Styles School of Theatre Art is a 15 member group that was formed eight years ago. The group which is based in Ruwa specialises in music and dance. Burial arrangements for the two dancers are yet to be announced.
