A spokesman for the MDC led by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has criticized the grabbing and looting of farms and businesses by Zanu PF functionaries as ‘dangerous and satanic’.
Nelson Chamisa who is also the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Minister was speaking at a public lecture on transparency organized by Transparency International Zimbabwe (TIZ).
“Zanu (PF) behaves like somebody who sees a pregnant woman and wants to court her and then leaves for another one,” said Chamisa at the public debate which was focusing on the need for politicians holding office to declare their wealth.
“This culture is unhealthy and as the MDC, we strongly condemn such kind of behavior as it stalls development. People must not be addicted to ripping where they did not sow,” he said. Chamisa revealed that 44 MP’s from his party have already declared their assets to parliament.
