Zimbabwean actress Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe has now made several appearances on the US smash hit comedy series Two and a Half Men starring Charlie Sheen (Charlie) and John Cryer (Alan).
Zimbabwean fans of the most popular comedy show in the world will have seen Tinashe featuring in at least three episodes of the show as girlfriend to Jacob ‘Jake’ Harper played by Angus T Jones.
Born February 6, 1993 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, Tinashe a blooming actress, singer and dancer is also a member of girl group, The Stunners. She has already featured in over 12 television and film roles including Call Me Claus (starring Whoopi Goldberg) and Avatar: The Last Airbender among others.
Tinashe spent her early years in DeKalb, Illinois, as a baby model, with her two younger brothers, Thulani and Kudzai, but, at age eight moved to Los Angeles, California. Her father is Zimbabwean and her mother is Caucasian.
Don’t be fooled by her beauty she has a black belt in taekwondo and on the softer side plays the piano. For three years she played the violin before quitting. As a former victim of bullying, Kachingwe is an active member of the anti-bullying community as well as an advocate for the LGBT community.
Fans of Canadian singer Justin Bieber will also know that Tinashe features in his music video “Baby”, along with friends Lil Twist and Drake.
