Audio: Listen to Zanu PF propaganda jingles

Must Try

Trending

President Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF regime are once again resorting to desperate measures to try and win support for elections slated for next year in 2011.

State radio and television under the monopoly of the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) has been ordered to play Zanu PF jingles twice every hour.

The songs were produced by the Mbare Chimurenga Choir and praise President Robert Mugabe as being firmly in charge of the country despite the coalition government in place after he lost elections in March 2008.

The songs go on to claim Zanu PF is still united under Mugabe even though the reality is that there is fierce factional fighting tearing the party apart.
