COPAC team to start road shows

The Constitutional Parliamentary Committee (COPAC) will be engaging in a series of road shows led by Co-Chairman Douglas Mwonzora.

The team will be at the Chinhoyi Hall at 5 pm on the 22nd of February before moving to Gokwe Centre (11am) on the 23rd of February.

All roads will then lead to Lupane (10am) on the 24th of February before Mwonzora and his team go to Gwanda Hotel (11am) on the 25th of February.

According to a press statement issued by Willie Mponda, Secretary General of the Zimbabwe Association of Editors (ZAE) the engagement tour will end on the 26th of February at Dombotombo Hall in Marondera.

A massive outreach programme to collect public views on a new constitution is still to take place as Zanu PF continues to throw spanners in the works.

The latest mischief making is coming from Co-Chair Paul Mangwana of Zanu PF who claims donors funding the process are demanding input into the project.

This he claimed is delaying the process.
