Vanessa voices concern at judging

Miss Zimbabwe Vanessa Sibanda, the daughter of army general Philip Valerio Sibanda has expressed her disappointment at the manner of the judging at the recent Miss World beauty pageant.

Sibanda made it to the top 12 at the pageant but narrowly missed out on making the top 10.

“I just wish I knew how the judging process was done because on the final night, we didn’t even parade for them to come up with the top ten, top seven and the winner.

“It seems like they already had the winner before the final night.
“But I’m happy for the winning country Gibraltar, she was a lovely girl.”

“I guess everything happens for a reason. I represented my country to the best of my abilities.

“If Miss World was not for Zimbabwe this year, maybe next time. There’s no point feeling sorry for myself forever, I will stay positive because usually in life when one door closes, another opens.”
