Stay Alive and Spread the Word Campaign

Must Try

Trending

The Youth Forum has today launched a nation wide campaign dubbed Stay Alive and Spread the word campaign that targets the youth in the country’s ten political provinces.

This campaign consists of a package that includes a female and a male condom wrapped in a reader comprising educative information on constitutionalism, transitional justice, human rights and a copy of the global political agreement.

These condoms are meant to encourage young people to remain focused in the fight for political democracy by not forgetting to take necessary measures to protect themselves against HIV/Aids and other venereal diseases.

This is our contribution as the Youth Forum towards an HIV free generation of responsible youth leaders.

The Reader is strategically organized to ensure that young people mainstream HIV/Aids discourse in the on going processes of national healing, constitutional reform, human rights, and political democratisation.

This campaign will see the Youth Forum organizing focus group discussions with young people in townships, rural resettlement areas, and mining and farming communities providing information and stimulating debate and discussions on key issues concerning the youth that need to be part of the national policy and political discourse.

Meanwhile, the Youth Forum is very thankful to all the organisations that have made this campaign a reality. The Youth Forum will keep you informed on the progress of this crucial campaign in different parts of the country.
