Tuku death rumours false: Manager

False reports suggesting that legendary Zimbabwean musician Oliver ‘Tuku’ Mtukudzi had passed away have been dismissed as ‘sick’ and ‘cruel’ by his manager Sam Mataure.

Speaking to New Zimbabwe.com Mataure said it was not the first time such reports have been spread around and that this was hurtful for Mtukudzi’s family and fans. 

Mataure also revealed that they had just picked up their visas from the British Embassy in Harare for Tuku’s upcoming shows in the United Kingdom.
