Financial Gazette- Established in 1969, is Southern Africa's leading business and political newspaper well known for its indepth and authoritative reportage that is anchored on providing timely, accurate, fair and balanced news. As a specialist publication, the Financial Gazette deliberately limits its weekly print run, although this has grown from 25 000 copies in 1996 to 40 000 in 2000, reflecting the newspaper's growing readership mostly in Zimbabwe where it is headquartered. An independent media survey puts the newspaper's weekly readership of its printed edition at about 400 000, far ahead of its nearest competitor which has 260 000 readers. The Financial Gazette's Online Edition is the most widely read Zimbabwean newspaper, recording more than one million hits every month.

Herald Newspaper- State owned daily newspaper churning out government propaganda. Taking advantage of government ban on the popular Daily News.

New Zimbabwe - Zimbabwe's first and only rolling news site updated 24/7 with all the latest news, sports and commentary. The website is designed and run by people who have seen how the dearth of free expression can reduce progressive nations into pariahs where the majority are always at the mercy of the powerful. New Zimbabwe.com seeks to expose situations where this takes place, and we make no apology for seeking the demise of such evil edifices wherever they appear.

Sunday Mail Newspaper- Another state owned Sunday paper used extensively to promote government propaganda.

The Kubatana Trust of Zimbabwe, incorporating the NGO Network Alliance Project (NNAP), aims to strengthen the use of email and Internet strategies in Zimbabwean NGOs and civil society organisations. Kubatana makes human rights and civic education information accessible from a centralised, electronic source. Our web site archives over 5000 documents about Zimbabwean civil society. We have an electronic network of over 240 NGOs and CSOs. Each Kubatana partner has what we call a “fact sheet” in our online directory. Our project has given many NGOs an Internet presence without them having to spend resources on a fully-fledged web site. Our regular electronic activism campaigns encourage Zimbabweans and other visitors to our web site to mobilise, lobby and advocate. Being involved lessens one’s feeling of despair while helping us to keep inspired.
