HARARE – Daily News political editor Gift Phiri (GP) talked to MDC leader and Zimbabwean Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai at the launch of the MDC policy conference in Milton Park on Saturday. Below are excerpts of the interview recorded before a live audience.
Over the last two days, this policy conference has received, deliberated and scrutinised the party’s Agenda for Real Transformation (“ART”), our blueprint for effective, humane and viable political, economic and social governance.
HARARE – Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai says he does not hold a personal grudge against security service chiefs but wants them to respect civilian authority and to discharge their duties professionally in a non-partisan manner.

HARARE – Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and MDC leader Welshman Ncube have dismissed President Robert Mugabe’s threats to unilaterally announce election dates this week saying it is impossible to do so under the current laws.
