Journalist Geoff Hill the author of Battle for Zimbabwe and What happens after Mugabe gives a pre-election briefing at the Forum this week.

Geoff an exiled Zimbabwean who speaks fluent Shona, is a torture victim who luckily survived retribution by war vets in Zimbabwe where he worked for Manica Post.

He is now based in South Africa where he is the dean of foreign journalists and African correspondent of the Washington Times.

Venue: Downstairs function room, Bell and Compass, 9 - 11 Villiers Street

Underground: Charing Cross (1 minute), Embankment (3 minutes)

The Bell and Compass is next to Charing Cross Station at the corner of Villiers Street and John Adam Street, near our usual venue of the Theodore Bullfrog. Go down the stairs to the Downstairs Function Room.

Directions: From Charing Cross Station: Turn right out of the main concourse and right again into Villiers Street, or follow the Villiers Street exit from the Underground. Go down Villiers Street to the first left (John Adam Street) and the Bell and Compass is on that corner.

From Embankment: Take the North exit (away from the river) and walk up Villiers Street. The Bell and Compass is on the right at the corner of John Adam Street.
