Warriors coach a national disaster
EDITOR — The so-called Warriors coach, Charles Mhlauri, was given
enough, if not too much, time to prove himself and he failed. There
is no doubt that his results have been a disgrace, and he is not likely
to give us anything in the future. Zifa must have mercy on him by firing
him to get him out of his misery, otherwise he will continue with his
pathetic charade as a coach. If my memory serves me right, he is the
worst coach we have ever had. Mhlauri is a natural and national disaster
that must never be allowed to repeat itself. Zifa must fire him now!

Mugabe
incorruptible
The British awarded an honorary
doctorate to our President in the mistaken hope that he would give them
our land in return.
Now that they realise he is incorruptible, even after they made him a
knight, they are angry. Shame on them. In a blatant display of their
sour grapes, the neo-colonialists have withdrawn their worthless piece
of paper. I hope they will give it to their puppet, Morgan Tsvangirai,
who I understand has none, and actually holds only certificates of
attendance he attained at various international labour forums.
I think "Dr Tsvangirai" deserves such an "honour" for being the biggest
sell-out since independence.

Do you think Tony and the world bothers
about Tony's legacy as regards to Zimbabwe. All the world leaders can
kiss Mugabe's back side, that will never make any difference. Mugabe
is a sick man it is up to us Zimbabweans to take him out and make sure
no other leader in future will have such power over us. LAND ISSUE YOU
KNOW THATS RUBBISH, by the way Tony leaves a powerful economy while
your great leader is on a daily basis raping our economy.

Why is Mutambara attacking the church
initiative
I wonder if there will ever be a
time in Zimbabwe when a good initiative or idea will be acepted based on
merit rather than partisanship. What Mr Aurthur mutambara and obviously
his colleagues in the MDC and others are complaining about with the
church initiative, is mainly that they wanted to be participants and be
credited too, but the document clearly says Church initiative. So thus
this is what the churches think and are putting forward. If as Mr
Mutambara says that the document is noble and the initiators honourable,
let us then support them on the basis of national interest rather than
who did they meet first, why did they have tea with the president. They
had to meet someone and start somewhere.
For starters any initiative that is national in perspective should
embrace all Zimbabweans including the president. But I bet you if they
did not meet the president and met only the MDC, Zanu pF will not be
supporting the ini! tiative as they have done so far because they would
look at it as another opposition angle. So there goes the inherent
intolerance that has become our life as Zimbabweans. One more thing, Mr
Mutambara, since you agree that Zimbabwe is 90% Christian, why would you
want to stall a Christian initiative just because the Muslims,
Bhuddists, Hindus and the like are not part of it? So is your upcoming
paper on the way forward going to be a Bhuddist initiative? I wont be
surprised since Zimbabwe is looking East(China) these days.

Mutambara should not just react
What seems to be lost to Mutambara here is the concept of agenda
setting. You can't be a leader who has to react to other people's
initiatives without you taking the lead to set up an agenda everyone can
foolow. No matter how flowed these initiatives are, they still remain
that! An initiative. As long as the opposition does not set a tone and
hence a national agenda they will keep responding to us via e-mail like
this.

The MDC Executive election
in Oxford
..will be remembered by many
including me because it was short of that democratic measure. The main
issue that disturbed me was how branches were formed. One Branch
Chairman formed several branches between July 2006 to September 2006 a
situation which compromises democracy. In that making a person is giving
himself an upper hand before the election. Our leadership in the party
also failed us because they were suppose to verify the quorum of every
branch before the election to ensure that transparence is promoted. But
having said this the struggle continues. The UK elections are not the
struggle but the struggle is back home. Lets learn from these mistakes
and in future challenge abnormalities. We have to work together to
achieve our liberation and the leadership
should know that they are there not to rule but lead.
