HARARE – The Harare man who allegedly confessed to raping and strangling to death 10-year-old Rugare girl Stacy Munjoma yesterday appeared in court charged with murder. Tawanda Mugove (27) was remanded in custody to May 31.

HARARE – A rape prophecy turned real after an eight-year-old girl was sexually molested by her uncle, true to what her mother had been told during a church service, a magistrate has heard. The incident allegedly took place last year, when the girl returned from school.

HARARE – Court officials in Zimbabwe say a man has been charged in the murder of six people who died from poisoned food meant only for a neighbor he accused of flirting with his wife. Saini Sakandya, 63, arrested last week, allegedly used a wild herb to spike the food.
