HARARE – President Robert Mugabe’s motorcade was yesterday involved in two separate accidents on a single trip to Zvimba. The Zanu PF leader was on his way to Zvimba for a funeral when one of his outriders knocked down a vagrant before a land cruiser in his motorcade burst a tyre moments later, injuring security details.

A HARARE man who divorced 10 wives one-after-the-other yesterday sought a protection order against the 11th one whom he accused of beating him up each time they argue. It emerged at the Civil Court that Admire Chivhunga was taking anti retroviral drugs behind the back of his current wife and that was one of the sources of their arguments.

The Chitungwiza Municipality has cleared Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa’s United Family International Church to complete construction of its mega church in the town. Only last week the Chitungwiza Housing Director Jemina Gumbo was fired over the deal that saw Makandiwa’s church getting the land.
