Enter with caution: Gold dust falling in the House of God

The phenomenon of gold dust falling in church services has been seen and reported in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe and here in USA. What is that about? is it of God?
The thing is: if this phenomenon was happening in just one church in one country, one could be excused for ascribing it to the demonic. But since its happening in churches all around the world, what do we make of it?
Reader please understand that for too long the church has had an adversarial relationship with gold and silver. Think about all those hymns they used to sing that criticize money. In the church we pretended like we were happy being broke and we called money all sorts of ugly names!
With time the name-calling got so ugly that one day money rose up and said: “Sorry church, I’m breaking up with you! You don’t like me and I don’t like you. I will go somewhere else I am needed, wanted and celebrated”
And with that money grew wings and left!
The problem is that in the church we have failed to understand a cardinal life principle i.e. “You can’t attract what you criticize.” Which is why, generally speaking, the church is broke. We have repelled instead of attract money.
We even have sayings like “As poor as a church mouse.” Apparently the church mouse is poor because it can’t even find a single crumb of bread in a church where its Head fed a crowd of over 10 000 people with 12 basketfuls of leftovers. That is how broke the church is!
So the gold dust that is falling in many church services around the world is God’s way of telling the church not to be nervous about money anymore. Money is a FRIEND not a FIEND.
The gold dust that has been seen falling on people’s shirts, jackets, hands etc is God’s way of saying, “Relax. Get used to this stuff. It is not evil. It is good”
This is similar to what God uttered some 6000 years ago about the land of Havilah when He said, “The gold of that land is good” (Gen 2:12). Gold is good, not evil.
Money is NOT the root of evil. The love of money IS the root of all evil. But it’s also true to say that those that don’t have it are just as capable of committing the sin of loving money as those who have it. The problem is obviously not money. The problem is an idolatrous human heart in need of divine re-alignment.
No, you can’t serve God AND mammon. But you can serve God WITH mammon. Big difference! All the patriarchs from Abraham through David served God with their wealth. And they were extremely wealthy.
The phenomenon of falling gold dust is nothing but God’s summons to the church to have a positive & healthy relationship with material wealth. God wants you, child of God, to have money, but He just doesn’t want the money to have you.
This is the clear message of scripture that the church has failed to communicate properly, and in the absence of a clear word on the matter, God now sends visuals to help us learn.
Oh what divine grace!
